Does anyone actually know these "real" people? Take the dentists in the Sensodyne ads for example... the home VCR shaky camera shots, the friendly chap down the road attitude, the make up-less faces... but are they really real? Does anyone actually go to the said dentists for surgery? Other ads too, just can't think of any.

Well, one of the dentists is "real" as you put it. Just as nice in person as on the camera.

reverse the logic on him; ask him if his dog would be a crap dog without the "insert brand name" dog food :)
