or am I over-reacting because I bubbled a few hands later?

The 2 clear chip leaders are in the hand, Dakota Boy has raised pre-flop and durango flat calls with AA. The pre-flop raiser bets 1600 into a 2000 pot and is perhaps saved from losing more (his whole stack???) by being told what his opponent has. Dakota had spent about 7 seconds thinking before he was told AA.
Worth complaining to VC, or would I be making a fool of myself?

Much more likely than collusion is that your man is an idiot who doesn't want to go out on the bubble with aces on this scary flop, or something similar. But notify VC anyway, I think it is against their rules to talk about your hand like this.

i cant see the problem here. its 4 handed so AA doesnt want to lose a customer, he check-raises all in on the flop and the opponent folds. it was a very draw heavy board to be fair... or am i missing something?

I want an all-in showdown between these 2 to get me into money placings obviously.
Duranga (AA) 'possibly' prevents a showdown as follows.

Dakota (??) is the pre-flop raiser and post-flop bettor, so he has some sort of hand. The pot is 8800 when it gets to him and it costs him 3700 to call.
He hesitates for about 7 seconds so he doesnt have an insta-call hand like a set or the nut straight, at which stage Duranga announces his hand AA.
Lets say Dakota has hands like AdKd, 9dAd, AdQs KdJd QX - he may be considering calling but then is told he is (a) behind and (b)less outs than he might have thought. So he folds. (Duranga doesnt really want a call from any of these hands - On the bubble he will be more than happy with the 5200 pot)
    All-in Showdown avoided.

VC partly agree with me and said that both players had been dealt with. I pointed out that only one at most had done anything wrong !!
VC disagree with me when I say I have possibly been cheated. Host-XXX told me because I am not in the hand I cannot have been cheated (which I thought displayed a lack of knowledge of STTs).
    AJs.

personally i think if iv aces so close to the bubble im delighted to make whats in the pot on the flop and wont allow anyone to take a chance on a draw in the bubble so i go all in. the other guy think well iv raises (maybe a steal) i have to bet the flop to see where i am, if he has a monster hed have re-raised pre flop so ill bet out and see if he had caught it, He could have JJ and thought Kq or AQ has caught a piece of it. id certainly not be too amused if im either of those guys and VC ask me about colluding. just my take on it.

And what would people say if this guy actually didn't have AA, you never know, I heard a terrible rumour one time (I don't believe it for a second BTW) that sometimes Poker players tell fibs at the table...

The only way cheating or collusion happened here is if they knew each other and agreed to tell the truth about their hands in chat when in a hand such as this with each other.

and was there a definitive answer/ ruling provided, I might have missed the end of it... but I still think it's a rubbish attempted rule, speech play is all part of Poker...

i agree if you cant say your real hands then you take out the double bluff element and so on, just play your cards and get on with it, if you have to rely on what people say then your easily led...
