laptop problem

hi dudes.i just got a new lappy an i love it.but i now have a problem.i uninstalled norton anti virus.because i dint want to use it.so i did this an now everytime i turn on my lappy it says invalid disk.please insert rite disk an press any key. dint know wat to do so i press esc just before the beep.an i was given a choice…

Hi dampimp,

Have you tried using system restore. Im not sure but it may fix the problem. I cant imagine how uninstalling norton antivirus would cause any problems like the one you're describing. Have you got a disc in the drive when booting up? If you have a floppy in the drive,take it out(if you have a floppy drive)
