My wife wakes up some mornings and tells me blow by blow what happened in her dream before she woke up, usually has something to do with her having the baby or me dying!!!

Me being a loving husband sits there nods my head and listens even though some are so vivid i get a 5 minute blow by blow account, she remembers her dreams better then i remember real life!, I dont want to offend her, but part of me wants to say "Oh come on it was only a dream, why do I need to listen to all this. I want my coffee." But I dont I sit there smile and nod my head.

Maybe you should be saying this to her.

Do you have to say "blow" in that paragraph so many times?

Between "partner" and "blow" I'm getting odd images...

Tell your wife not to worry :)
It is not uncommon in pregnancy to have very vivid, and sometimes upsetting dreams. The body is going through alot of changes, and hormones are flying!

If you are one to believe dreams have meanings, dreams of death don't nessesarily mean someone will die - but can signify new beginnings.

Make up your own dreams. You were playign international cricket for Ireland and give her a blow by blow account...

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

If Sharkdog is the kind of awesomeness I'm imagining then you need to start a new thread with details right now buddy!

@OP, it's a tough break but maybe phase out and remember your own dream while she's talking. You scored the wining goal in the FA cup, remember?

Tell her to write the dreams down and see if they make any kind of pattern, - write them down fast or the details will fade. That way you can listen to them over breakfast when you can eat and read the paper while muttering "uh huh"

I would love to have kept diary's of my dreams to be fair but you know how it is nowadays, alarm rings and your up and out. No time fella. Mind you it would make some fascinating reading.

    Question.
Is it's possible to dream about something that you've never seen before?

    Sounds like an anxiety dream.
If she's really anxious, telling you about the dream could be just be an excuse to get some reassurance from you. Is she constantly looking for reassurance then?
If yes sounds like she's in a pattern of it. Poor girl.

Best way to handle stuff, i think, Is to get her at a quiet moment during the day...when nothing else is on and you won't be interrupted. then sit down and say that you have something to discuss with her. Tell her you've been noticing that she's aving lots of vividdreams, that they all seem frightening and ask is there something wrong.

Give her some space to say whats going on and then say that it's making you a bit annoyed (that'll be a hard one to say)
    Anyway good luck

Unless your spoiler is about sharkdog, keep out of it.

Back on topic and I'm picturing a bulldog with the head of a shark.

Your mind can throw different factors together in various ways so that it seems new.

Fail the see the humor in suggesting one hits the partner, even in a joke sorry maybe just my morals are too high, I would regard myself as having a great sense of humor, but the main ingredient here was missing, it wasnt funny.

    Yeah the sharkdog!!!

I was down the beech (Sandycove) and out of nowhere a big fcuk off shark came right for me, you now that thing when a shark nears the surface with its fin up out of the water about 3 feet and you can see the water parting over it's massive body as it raced to me with great speed. Now dont ask how but i swam to the shore without it catching me and i ran away as quick as i could but i looked behind and the fcukin thing was chasing me. It had The sharks body (About 20ft long with big fin) but had a dogs head and legs but everything else was like the shark. Now i dont remember much after that except i was cowering under a rock but could hear it screaming????

Other things: 1) It was that really dark grey weather but not nightime if you know what i mean and the sea was so calm.

    2) I was the only person on the beech for some reason.

I'm sure i'm missing stuff because it was a good few weeks ago but it kind of stuck with me like no other dream before. I felt weird all day in work too like that anxious feeling you get???
