    Ooohh yes I got my filthy paws on the 2004 reissue of the Ibanez Overdrive Pro TS808 Tube Screamer. I've been on the lookout for a while. Ridiculously pricey (€200 in Thomann) but the tone is delicious. No fuzzy distorsion, just crisp, toneful overdrive. Sounds yummy.

    So in the last 6 months I went from:
    Hohner extra-crap Strat copy
    Alesis hissy/****e crapmonkey MultiFX
    Rocket tiny 12W practice amp (in fairness it did its job)

    ...to...
    Gibson SG Special Faded
    Ibanez Overdrive Pro TS808 Tube Screamer
    Marshall MG30DFX (yes, that'll be the next to go!)

    Its been a great year!
