eBay Login

I've just gone on to ebay.ie for the first time in a month. It briefly comes up the homepage and then goes on to the login screen showing my eBay ID and prompting me for my password.

Now the URL is still starting with https://signin.ebay.ie so I'm not particularly suspicious about it, but at the same time it is quite strange.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a recent thing?

You might want to make sure cookies are enables etc. Or it could just be a temp issue with ebay.

How did you get to that address, bookmark etc? Try just going to ebay.ie and use the links to get to the signin page. I've noticed a few pages don't work when you link directly.

    It is what it's.

I deleted my ebay cookie. Ebay.ie back to normal now. I did however delete the cookie uk.ebayrtm.com/rtm too. I dont know what the hell it is. No such site exists and I doubt that ebay would allow their name to be used in another web address.

Unfortunately as I deleted them together, I'll never know which was bringing up the login screen:(

Well I use ebay.com also and it has ebayrtm.com loading along with the main ebay.com site so its some component of their site I would imagine.

eBay own the ebayrtm.com domain, so it's legit.
