Iriver help

    Bought an Iriver H10 20gig (€189) from the states. Got it last week with the customary us charger. Bought a cheap multi plug charger in euro2 set the charger to maximum instead of minimum voltage and the Iriver died does anyone know how I can fix this.(and before anyone states the obvious I know I am an Idiot)

    TBH, I doubt you can fix it. Chances are reasonably high that you toasted the internals or at least the power input. Possibly your only option is to send it to iRiver America and not to mention the charger...

    you probably needed more than just a american to three ping plug convertor.

    you needed a step down convertor to transfer our voltage 230v to the american 110v.

    as fey said just send it back
