Yeah I get them, but we block them with Mailmarshal

Along with all the rest of the p3nis enlargement offers ...
Be the "biggest" out of all your friends
    Don't be inadequate anymore!
Don't be the "little guy" in the club
    Don't get left behind!
Hey bro, check out the huge sale these guys are offering
Other guys are improving themselves..are you?

... all of which is making me a little paranoid.. ;)

About 20% of our spam is related to stock exchange mails

What email account are you using?
Is it work related or personal?

oh yeah, i've had those pen1s enlargement ones lol and i'm all female! Maybe I should pass them on to my hubby;) I am using an eircom.net address, my own home personal one. I have spamkiller and they go directly to my spam folder but still, you gotta go through these emails anyways just in case something important ended up in there by mistake as quite often they do.

Just create some rules in Outlook or use the alternative thunderbird which has an inbuilt spam filter.

Does anyone know how to get rid of these emails that come giving stock tips.

I have them bumped and marked as Junk but they come in with different names and different subject lines each time.

This started last week for me too.

I'd appreciate any advice on how to stop this.

If you surf a lot or open unsolicited spam emails, your address will become a target. Also have found that if you use Irish words in your address, you seem to get less spam. In addition to these precautions, I use spam filters that essentially eliminates it before it gets to me.

    Hehe, I wouldn't if I were you :D

I rarely get spam, to either my personal or work addresses, but I noticed a few of those stock ones in the last few weeks. The text is contained in an image so it's hard to catch.

I use Thunderbird at home so I just told it the emails were junk, and it blocks them now (it took a couple of days) so I'm back to a spam-free existence again :p

It also depends who you have an account with. I did have an eircom account, but ended up getting roughly 30 spam per day because they didn't have any filters whatsoever. I'm using gmail now and have had about 3 in the year that i've had my account, so i'm happy enough.
