Anybody know of a decent website for flights to NYC.
4 adults going in July for 5nights, (Monday through to Sat) & I'm the one asked to find the best rates :(
Aer Lingus site is looking like 900euro  each but surely theres far cheaper out there.
I'd really appreciate some help on this.

What dates? I assume you are going from Dublin?

As far as I can see Delta do a return from the 3rd to 8th for US$639 each.

Try Expedia.com for some good prices.

    July 10th - 15th is €539 each (incl. taxes) on www.delta.com

$2694 for four people from Dublin to JFK via Heathrow on the 10th of July to the 15th on American Airlines.

It's slightly cheaper if you go Dublin-Chicago-La Guardia, but probably not worth the stop-over hassle, and JFK is a little easier to get from than La Guardia if you're staying in Manhattan.

Thanks Absolut, got flights for 2,756 on Expedia.com. Stopover in shannon, on to JFK & direct flight back. 538 each at 1.28 exchange rate, not too bad I suppose

That's a decent price, and the shannon stopover is a lot less hassle than the Heathrow one.

Just watch out for the exchange rate - you'll normally get a slightly worse rate from your credit card company than what you'll see on the like of www.xe.com

Did you book that on Expedia.com or .co.uk?
No problems with Irish Credit Card? I heard you could only use US or UK cards on the respective sites?

Your right Faltermyer, after filling out all details Iwent to pay & it wouldn't allow it. I rang their US no. & was told I had to book through expedia.co.uk. Ended up 20euro dearer each
