This guy seems to be a right mope alltogether. He drops Graham Lee like a hot snot just like he did with Robert Winston last year. It seems that the first Graham heard about it was when he heard about the approach to Paddy Brennan. What a classy thing to do.

Graham has been quickly snapped up by Ferdy Murphy and Paddy Brennan is considering the move to Johnson's yard. I don't think he'll take too long with his considerations to be honest, the Johnson/Wylie operation is like Chelsea's in many ways in that a lot of the success has been bought in quite a short space of time...Paddy is a rising star and the offer will prove too tempting. I wish Lee all the best with Ferdy Murphy and I hope Paddy can make a name for himself, and also a few bucks, before they inevitably tire of him too.

Personally I believe that Wylie was watching telly one day and heard someone say that Paddy Brennan was the next McCoy and he wanted to do a JP, only before the youngster improves into a million dollar jockey. Of course I'm never right about anything.

    I won't argue with you there.:D

Johnson is a bit of an oddball alright. It's bad news for Lee, the one thing I that surprised me was the fact that Brennan was meeting with Johnson before Lee had been released, it's strikes me as unprofessional conduct on Brennans part discussing a job that was currently filled by a colleague, I wonder will there be any bad blood there.

I'd wonder was the decision Johnson's or was it Wylies, Wylie always seems to come across as a decent sort so I'm gussing it was Johnson.

Johnson I would seriously question where as in Wylie I would think he goes on Johnson's advice as no-body in there right mind would buy a horse like Regal Setting of the flat for £220,000. Johnson has'nt a clue and the fact that Grey Abbey is going back in training but not with Johnson tells its own story.

As for Brennan he is just as bad to be honest the way he messed about Ginger when will he/wont he on Inca Trail for the national. One day he is saying how great Inca Trail is the next he is on Eurotrek.

Lee will bounce back as he has been in worse positions. Although I hope Mercer still gets a nice book of rides

It sounds like he's making a scapegoat out of Lee for his crap year. (at least I think it was crap, they'd no winners at cheltenham did they? too lazy to look it up)

No they hadn't,its always the case when a Trainer has a poor year that the blame goes elsewhere.Johnson ran their Stayers hurdle winner only half-fit at Chepstow when the Horse tipped over and injured itself and missed the rest of the season.Lee is a top Jockey imnsho.
