Are xbox 360 games region free??

    I want to get some xbox 360 games from www.yesasia.com
    I usually find them good, and they have their games priced between €40 and €55!!
    The games are all US versions though.
    I'm just wondering what the story with regions etc is, will a US game version work on a european xbox 360 (with harddrive etc)??

    Here's an answer you won't want to hear.. some are, some aren't, you'll have to research if game you want to buy is region free with Google or query the seller/shop you're buying from as to its region locking.

    Has a list of what games are Region Free etc.
    Also, they are cheaper for games, ~€35

    If you got a region free game from japan, would the text not be in japanese?! and does it effect you if you play online with an ntsc version?

    i have recieved my first region free games from play asia this week and everything is in english , the only diffrence is it has ntsc instead of pal on the box .

    i was so happy with the games and the price i paid for them including postage ( €35 each ) that i ordered two more and got them both for around €63 including postage .
