Where to buy a hedge?

    Want to plant a hedge. Whats the best way to do this? Where can you get one?

    Wait until winter when you can get bare rooted shrubs to plant as hedging, There are all in pots now and will cost a lot more. The nurseries will have them but better again from a farmers market or similar where you can deal direct with the grower.

    or, find a hedge you like and take some cuttings, stick in in post with some rooting compound and this time next year you will have a mini hedge.

    futureforests.net seem to be good value - not as cheap as buying in winter but cheaper than garden centres now.
