Dead Man's Shoes - Re-releasing?

    Whilst going through the Apple Quicktime movie trailer website I noticed they have a trailer for "Dead Man's Shoes". You can find it here

    The release date on the trailer is May 12th, 2006 yet IMDB quotes it as being released in 2004. There is no trace of any 2006 screening of this movie. Are they re-releasing it in the States, or is this a mistake?

    This is the movie's first theatrical release in the US.

    That's a relief, because from the thread title I thought this was going to be another DVD release. It always irks me when they release a better DVD than the one you've got.

    IMHo one of the best brit movies for a long time. And I agree with the last poster, don't think they will get it in the states at all....

    Too true. Though the DVD I have is pretty cool. So I'm happy with it :)

    I'd say it will probably go down fairly well. I mean there is nothing about it which makes it an overly british/irish orientated (probably spelt dreadfully wrong, but meh) movie and the themes are the same - Drug abuse, revenge, love (to a certain extent.. brotherly love anyways)

    Yeah, I probably should've been more specific with the title, eh? :P
