Protection?

    I recently got my new computer connected to the internet. My question is what software should i get to protect it? I dont want to go overboard with protection. I got 3 months Norton internet security with it. Should i stick with this when it runs out and is this enough?

    Check out the link in my sig,
    I would get rid of norton all together and stick on AVG-again more details in the link in my sig.
    Subjects such as this are littered through out the computers/technology forum so have a browse also.
