    Hi Guys,
Im looking for some help... Im in my 4th year of college so its a long time since i did the junior cert however ive been asked to give grinds as a favour to someone in history and english as he is really struggling.

Only thing is im pretty hazy on the course requirements etc. Can someone please tell me what I should be advising him on in these few weeks that are left? Is it ok to know just one explorer/one plantation/one renaissance person etc. or is that cutting it fine?

And what about english?are there any tips going around?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!

    Namaimo
(p.s. whats the going rate for a grind these days? :p )

Yes, that's ok. You're never asked to write about one specific person...it's basically ''write about a famous explorer/plantation you've studied'' and possibly give the consequences/results of them.
If he/she has exam papers work from those.

English: work from the exam papers. Revise poetic terms, remember the three-paragraph rule and revise over play/novel summary and characters, also themes.
History: Ack. This is my ucky one. Learn two renaissance artist/sculptor/writers and make sure one is from outside Italy, and one from Italy. Like Raphael and Shakespeare. Plantation, one. But skim over the rest incase a question comes up on plantations. Again use exam papers.
