VLC problem

    been using VLC to watch movies for the past few months, played a movie on it today and the screen is all green, avn't changed settings or anything. Any suggestions??

    try reinstalling VLC ?

    Go through the different video tracks, if there is any!

    reinstalling didn't work and most of the movies only have one video track, any other suggestions please??

    Eh it might be because you are playing a dvd from a region thats not allowed on your DVD drive. Any idea if your dvd is region free?

    Is it just this one "movie"? What filetype or is it a DVD?
    Try g-spot to identify the codec?

    finally got it sorted, dicked around with the settings to see if anything would work, "overlay video output" & "window decorations" were ticked so turned them off, and picture is back, thank god. cheers for yer input people.

    Karoma that g-spot tool is class, cheers.
