Is there camping at this even though it's only one day?

There's no camping at this, it's a one day event!

65 euro seems steep considering there's a curfew of 2am and the acts announced aren't all that amazing.

Toots and the Maytals have pulled out, something about a broken leg, were replaced by Desmond Dekker who promptly died. Not having much luck with their headliners!

    Ballinlough Castle, Clonmellon, County Westmeath

This is where it's at. Not Athboy, co Meath. And yes, I am aware it's not far, but it's even in a different county!

yeah thats what i thought! 65 euro is kinda steep, i'm going cause i cant make any other irish festival this year. suppose it's worth it for the orb, 2 many djs, asian dub and carl craig. That super discount djs thing sounds good as well. the real rip off is the 90 euro ticket including shuttle bus. how can they justify 25 euro for a short return bus journey? thats crap about TandM, was really looking forward to them:(

How far is it from Droggghdea?

About a 30-40 minute drive. You could get a bus to Navan and I think you should be able to get a bus to Athboy from there.

was at this yesterday, turned up around 8pm after work

lineup wasn't excellent but 2 Many DJs were class as usual, the orb were decent and discotonic in the greenhouse tent seemed to be hopping for the day

definitely worth the visit, deffo a nice happy summer vibe, the location was brill with an electric picnic sort of crowd. Good day to get the summer fests off to a start

i was behaving myself for the night as i was due in for work the next morning at 8:30!!

anybody else still alive after the day?

left dublin early and managed to get into the festival site without seeing a single signpost for the damn thing (did anyone see a single sign on any route in?). We only went to see one band: Fat Freddy's Drop, who rocked like a Mother, and then stayed around to check out Discotonic, Etienne de Crecy and Neosupervital (seen most of the headliners before and was just too tired to leap about anymore). A lovely place and nicely put together, course the tickets are steep - it's Ireland. Sorry to say but with the music blend, the type of food and the average clientele it reminded me of being in Ranelagh but nevertheless I would go back next year. ;)
