    Mercedes and Veg oil.

Does anyone know (and this is probably directed to andreas_220D ) whether the w123 200D would be suitable for conversion to veg oil. Would it need a pre-warmer and extra tank? How was the W123 for rust ?

Gimme a call -> 01-6589839. The W123 has a slighly modified OM615 engine which runs with few modifications on vegi oil.

Share it here - I'm also interested; I have a good 5 cyl 3L diesel engine with 5 speed 'box in a rusted w123, just waiting for a new home.

I'd be happy to go tyre-kicking W123s - I've had a few and have a good idea what to look out for at this stage. They can and do rust badly if neglected.

I'm fortunate enough to see an interior very similar to that one every day.
