Windows XP Pro Packaging Question

I just bought a copy of Windows XP Pro off Komplett, I'm not installing it ye as I still have to get a new hard drive. On the product key sticker there is two little holes, one is oval shaped and the other looks like the windows symbol, it just looks odd as they look like they have been torn out. Does any one know why they…

I have seen this on all the COA labels. I believe it is security feature as there suppliers are the only ones that produce this type of label. And it makes it very hard too copy and you can tell a fake when you see one.
