Analyse this "squeez" play please

Down to 14players in a Stars $20 freezout,450runners started.Although the buyin is low the standard is high and it aint a craphoot yet! Blinds are 1500/3000 with a 150ante. Its 7handed, folded to the button(75k) who makes it 8k. He is active in position and his range is very wide. The sb(50k) calls,hes very tight,has only shown monsters and never steals. He is very easy to read and his blinds are always stealable. My bb(45k), i have 89 offsuit.

Now im fairly certain the button will fold to an all-in,his range is so wide and hes a bully. The sb has been tight and his call stinks of a small pair or AJ,maybe KQ or A10. Im certain he reraises with Jacks or above. So i decide to push,good/bad?

Results: Button folds,sb calls and has 99. I was shocked by his call, but is it a standard call for him?

looks like an ok play to me except it is a standard call for sb, if you had an overpair you wouldnt go all in for so much usually so he probably thinks he is a favourite.

If he has AJ he prob passes so good move ul.

I think this is good, assuming you don't have a reputation as a maniac. I think he passes 99 a lot here, you certainly could be doing this with JJ+. How else would you play say QQ here? Baby reraise to half your stack?

I would be more worried the SB might have trap called with a monster here, occasionally the action will go like this and you will be shown KK.

I like your play here, willis. You have quite correctly judged that button folds most hands he's raised with. No gripes with the 99 call though from the SB. Just a shame he didn't have AQ, at least u'd have had a race for your money. You need to make moves like the one you have tried here to win these MTTs. Keep her lit!
