Trust me Eircom dont like people closing things! Their so petty that they probably wont let you close it cause they think "Why would anybody want to leave us!"

as far as i know, eircom accounts automatically disable if left inactive for x amount of time, say two months or so ??
unlike trinity college, who leave them open for YONKS after you left the college!!!

At one stage I had 4 Eircom accounts. I didn't use 3 of them for over a year and when I went to access them they were gone! So they obviously delete them after a period of inactivity.
