Phantom Page in a thread

This is an odd one this thread is showing a phantom page number for me. It shows there is a page 2 or 3 then when you click on the page number it cycles back to the page you are already on. This happens in Firefox and IE7, whether I am logged in or not.

yeah i'm gettin the same it says there should be 2 pages but page 2 kicks back to page 1. i's just after post 40 that it happens. my page view is 40 posts a page

I assumed someone maybe had of deleted a post so it stuck on two pages

I'm on the 20 posts per page view.

I'd say that's the most likely explanation - maybe the page count query doesn't take into account deleted posts or something?

It says there are 2 pages in the forum but in the thread it says there are 3. I can't go to page 3. I'm a moderator in that forum so if there were deleted posts I would be able to see them.

It's all a bit weird. I'm viewing 40 posts per page.
