    Just lookin for somewhere different to go out with some of my friends at the weekends is tullamore good or portlaoise if any1 can make a few suggestions please do so

    Portlaoise is good craic. I would highly recommend Rammsbottoms on main street for a good pint.

    C'mon its not that bad.

    River S or the Palace are great places to start the night, the Palace has a late bar at weekends, so could stay there for the night or head on to one of the night clubs, Bozos or Karma.

    If you like music Sky venue is great for live music, have a gig series every friday night starting soon or sat night is good too, Club 23 or Egans have chart ****e. Pubs- Delaneys, Bar Mondays, O'Loughlins, Kavanaghs, Little Havana, Peigs and Ramsbottoms are full of girls (and lads :( ) on nights out too!

    ah i dunno if it's THAT bad! i have had a few good nights in both mullingar and athlone recently, though i must admit that both good company and lots of drink were involved. sure isn't that the key to a good night, not the location??

    I can recomend mullingar! Its getting extremely popular with the hen parties at the weekends now. Crossbar and caffreys have live music in an outdoor area at the weekends aswell!
