Handy sql tools

I've been learning PHP and mysql and I found this tool (Cocoa UltraSMS), which is freeware, and I'm dead chuffed. It downloads all (inbox) text messages into a mysql database via bluetooth.

It's really handy for me as I'm a hoarder and like to keep all communications so I use it as a backup for my text messages. Now that I have the texts in a database I can run mysql queries (from MAMP environment which is another freeware tool) and output them to a html file. I'm sure this is a walk in the park for some of you but for me it's a jump to the moon!

Anyone got any other cool sql programs? I'm searching for some iPod tools, no particular task in mind - I'm just trying to get my learning curve going. I've found an iPod to SQL program though here but I haven't tested it yet.

Incidentally, I hope you ipod users have YAMIPOD, it's great for reading rss newsfeeds (although it doesn't like the boards.ie blogs for some reason).
