had you any intention of going to the gig?
if your not interested in going you may as well sell it. people are crying out for tickets.
im sure you have plenty of friends or collegues looking for a ticket who would appreciate a chance to see their fav band without being ripped off.
    do the right thing.:)

Exactly. TBH you should wait until about 2 weeks before Oxegen before you decide to see if there's any additions to the lineup that are to your tastes, that's what I plan on doing. I'm sure most friends desperate for a ticket would only be glad to hand you an extra few quid anyway.

Ripping someone off with a E400 ticket is plain wrong, sadly there are enough stupid people who would still buy though.

    Gigs/Events BTW

if you ain't pushed on going then sell it-make the money-why not-if i had one i'd consider it. having said that i don't think i'd ever go again cos i had the WORST time 2years ago.

Ive said all along that Im gonna go regardless, but at the minute, theres a lot of 'good' bands as opposed to 'great' ones. Im still waiting/hoping for an 'eye-popper' to be announced. Preferably someone even remotely heavy...
Despite that, I cant see myself selling the ticket. Id agree with Zane, wait & see how it pans out. If you were to sell it now, you may regret it later...

Oh, for the record, if you were to sell it for E400, Id call you a tout.

Yes you would be hated and considered a tout.

I hope you arent abandoning friends you planned on going with either just to make a profit as well.

If you dont want to go sell it at face value and make someone somewhere very happy and have it so one less tout gets to make money off Oxegen.

I consider the casual touter to be as big a part of the problem as the pro-touts. If everyone who werent professional touts sold any spares at face value we wouldnt be in the mess that we are as pro-touts would suddenly have competition.

Seriously.. ticket touting is going to get much much worse in this country unless actual music fans start making a stand. In the US shows sell out in 2 minutes and the like because all the tickets are snapped up by touts. Its starting to happen here (see Pearl Jam) and its not going to stop anytime soon unless people start acting about ticket sales in the same way theyd like to be treated.

I sold my weekend last year, bought it really early and then something came up nearer the time on the saturday that i had to do. so sold it on ebay, made a profit but that was up to the bidders (though this year they are going for alot more money and the line up is not as good!). I bought a day ticket for the sunday, so was able to help out my friend on the sat and enjoy festival on sun and had spending money for the day too!

If you not into going i'd sell it as you wont be happy at it anyways if its not going to be your thing! Its up to the buyer to buy it for those big prices anyways!
