Anyone know of a place you can drop your PS2 off to get it chipped? Never modded a console in my life... so I know zip about it all. Any help much appreciated.

can get it done here http://www.modchipsireland.com/ps2.html but you will have to post it down .i know nothing about ps2 chipping but done plenty of xbox's myself.i think soldering ps2 chip is meant to be pretty hard.do you just want to play your backed up games on the ps2?.if so,i think all you need is swapdisc magic.if you want a home entertainment system the xbox is the way to go.can watch xvid's,play mp3's ,emulator games etc.its very easy to do yourself .
