but he has done this twice in last round with any a5 a8 busted and reloaded to the princely sum of 25

Called one of our no hopers all in 30 raises with KT and busted him out stack has been up and down.

utg + 1 to either fold say a pair or ideally call with AQ etc, if he calls with pair then still 50-50 and folding equity you get with push makes it nice and profitable

Doesn't matter what the results were, if LAG folds, then we have dead money in the pot =

If he calls then, his range is alot wider that AA/KK, and only these 2 hands have us in bad shape. Every other hand he could have will leave us with extra equity in the pot. =

The results are irrelevant (although interesting all the same :rolleyes:). If either of them had AA or KK then so be it, they won't the next time.

Of course the T hits on river but of no consequence to the decision

i would expect 9t to fold here but then i would expect 9t to fold to the 22 as well
As i was wondering how on earth he called of all his stack with 9t I asked myself what i wanted the push to achieve
And my thought process was AA KK i am essentially beat and going to lose my stack so push call same difference
Pocket pair under KK (who i have no problem playing) probably call 99-QQ definetely
And AQ AJ AT etc should fold

So in general I get the hands i am most likely to beat to fold and the hands that it is 50 -50 to call
this can be good for when i do get AA/KK but maybe some flop play would be a little better

He will call you with AQ/AJ here for sure (hell he called with T9 which you are a substantial favourite over).

I get the feeling he would have called with the rules of bridge and the 2 of diamonds
But maybe slightly more sensible players (but still LAG)would fold the 80 back but as first to speak would push a rag flop into a 68 pot
As i have already decided to play this hand to the death is this a better choice ?

No, you want him to call with the rules of bride and the 2d, you are a huge favourite !!

You want him to CALL when you have a favourable situation, not push him off the hand on the flop.

You did good, you got the shallow end of the variance pool. Reload, and get him again.
