    hey,

ran my savvy the other day, and while shes still running a little rich, after a while the engine seems to heat up and then runs too high, also i think the torque is pushing the engine back a little, even though the screws are tight, anyway of avoiding this? and why wold the engine heat go like that>?

Sounds like the low-speed needle is too lean, just put it flush with the edge of the carb slide and tune it from there. Always start with the high speed, then the low speed, the idle speed dosen,t have to be ajusted alot.
To solve the problem with the screws is use a bit of threadlocker.
You might want to cut a hole in the front windscreen of the body, this will help cool things down.

check for airleaks as well.. can cause a big temp. rise. ;)

low speed could be too lean alright.
What fuel are you using ? Mine runs way better on 5% green models fuel and the performance is not a whole lot different, and has not overheated on it. Even after a full tank the heatsink is still not too hot.
The savage can lean out a bit when the tank starts to run low too, so bear that in mind.

thanks guys, its 10% i think what it could be is an air leak as the sleeve between the manifold and exhaust had lost a tie, and it results in the engine not having enough compression to pull fuel unless its startd, will try that and reset the low speed needle, tomorow hopefully,

thanks will let ye no how it goes
