    Anyone ever hear of a Combatives guy called Nick Hughes?

    I he's got some DVDs coming out and I was just wondering if they are any good. I see he posts on the G.T. forum quite frequently. Apparently he was a CQB instructor for the French Foreign Legion (him being an ex-legionnaire and all).

    Cheers for any info.

    there is some ex SAS guy who was mentioned in Angy McNabb book

    Yes, I remember some (at the time) controversial articles appearing in FAI (Fight Arts International, for all of you under the age of 30:) ) from Nic Hughes in relation to Knife Fighting and there was a long running thread in the readers letters section about him.

    If I can dig them out tonight I'll have a look at them.

    That would be cool. Do you know if his stuff is any good (articles or whatever)?
    Don't want to shell out the cash without knowing anything about him.

    Hey Mill,

    That's the guy! Don't know where he got the nickname of Teapot though. Apparently he's 6”8!! Not someone you would not to p**** off. I see he's done some Q.A. Sessions on Geoff's site, so I reckon he must be fairly clued in.

    Yeah, when I saw that handle "teapot" I was
    tempted to take the pee out of him..then
    on 2nd thoughts decided not to.

    I have been on there the past few days (geoffs forum)

    I tell you there is alot of dudes who is the real real deal on there.

    and the whole whose whose of RBSD post...so its great to be
    able to ask questions etc!
