Hi all


I know this might not be posted in the right place but....

does anybody know of a good pub/ club in the city centre for friday night?


Im not looking for somewhere that plays hard dance music but more like r'n'b

I love "The Mezz" (beside the IFI in Temple Bar.) Downstairs in Thomas Reads is good too. Doyles on the corner near Pearse Street Garda station is good. Rira near The Stags Head is good...

i used to love the Mezz but i believe it is overflowing with these mockerockers nowadays

I'd say King's Head on Shop street. Usually a cover band and good crowd mix. Don't go to Front Door, gets jammers on Fridays.

No, he just doesn't have the energy to stand by the road shaking his fist at D reg cars anymore so he put that in his sig.

OT : Try venues like Whelan, The Hub , Dorans, Carnival etc...

You'll get a gig most weekend nights and they have DJ's on afterwards.

EDIT: Try the Temple Bar Music centre, they do all different nights from rock to r n b to metal to ska etc....
