Issues with zen micro photo

    Anybody had issues with the zen micro photo?i just purchased mine and the battery is only lasting 2 hours instead of 15,rang the customer services help line but the guy cant speak english!! most of the music is in wma format does that have anything to do with the problem? and if so how do i convert it?

    yeah wma uses the battery up quicker.
    conversion software comes with the player.

    I find this difficult to believe.

    How or why would playing back WMA files use up the battery quicker?

    If it is only lasting 2 hours instead of 15, there something definitely wrong with the player. Try reseting your player.

    At least get the battery replaced. I have always found Creative support very good.

    Well technically it's possible as some compression formats are more processor intensive, but theres no way that could be causing such a huge difference.

    well ive tried converting to mp3 but it will only convert 2 or 3 songs from an album and then it says " the file cannot support this format" for the rest of the songs????? all albums are from originals,tried converting induividually but still to no avail

    "Songs with a higher bitrate will cause a battery to drain faster. Re-ripping the songs with a lower bitrate is recommended. Suggested bit rates are 64kbps for WMA files and 128 kbps for MP3 files."
