Sod pensions/ investments etc. you only live once..

I've another year to go and then I'm using some of it to buy a Mercedes. Love a W108/109 but W114/115, W123, W116 are all on the list. Can't wait Can't wait:D

I'm starting a new job next Monday as a car salesman so I'm hoping that a lot of people are gonna use their SSIA to buy cars, my comission is depending on it.

I'd kill for a fastback Mustang, unfortunatly I was mean with my SSIA at the start so it won't stretch to that. Herself bought me a Mustang video, the 40th aniversary one and she was oohing and ahhing at the fastbacks or should I say the sound of them. So you'd never know, I might sell the coupe and see what I could get. I would like a resto jobby, unfortunalty I haven't a clue how to even start one which in it self is a money pit.Knowledge is everything.

Will definitely use some of it on the car.
    Engine needs some work.

Probably spend the rest on scratch cards. ;)

I think a lot of people spent it in advance in January when they bought a new car.
I seem to be buying a car once every three months for the past two years and my series 1 Alfasud is to be collected from London next week.:o

I however won't be using my ssia to buy cars. It's up in July.

In fact I am selling my Peugeot 504 and my Alfa GT and plan to clear one of my morgages with all that loot - and still hope to have about €10,000 for myself. :D

Still I suppose I can't complain - I will still be left with a garage full of most of my dream cars.

I'm being reasonably modest, considering a Mercedes SL or SLC, W116 or Jag XJ6.... I already have a full garage though so something will have to go first. That's the hard part.

    I blew mine on a 928.

    No regrets (yet).
