Support on the night comes from local one man band Neosupervital.

Tim O'Donovan aka Neosupervital will be performing new material from his forthcoming album. For an idea of what to expect on the night have a read of his press release below!

    Artist Profile :

If you fancy a spot of impromptu James Brownesque break dancing peppered with some beatboxing and recorder playing being proffered by a sharp suited one man electro band - Mr. Neosupervital was definitely honed for your pleasure. You may recognise Tim O'Donovan from playing drums in such bands as Bell X1 and Settler but what he offers as Neosupervital is entirely different. It all started one fine morning nigh on 3 years ago when he acquired his next-door neighbour's discarded guitar (ahem actually off his dustbin) and started composing. He then progressed from the acoustic to a pc, a drum box and a synth guitar. Think the Dandy Warhols fused with electronic beats, melodic pop, provoking lyrics more than imbued with irony, not to mention a stunning vocal range, and you're somewhere on the right track. If none of that tickles your proverbial fancy you should go see him for the laser light show kindly displayed by his glasses - mesmerising.

David Bickley of Hyperborea completes the lineup.

David has recently teamed up with Psychonavigation Records to record a new lp for the label. David will be launching his cd 'Still rivers at night' in Crawdaddy and will perform tracks live from the album. On the night expect a beautiful mix of Ambient / Electronica and Dub Rhythms from this talented musician.

    Artist Profile:

David Bickley formed the group Hyper[borea] in 1993 who went on to pioneer the fusion of Celtic music with dance idioms long before everyone else jumped on the wagon. The popularity of the project was so great that the group won the prestigious award – Hot Press Award - Best Band in 1998. Their "SERPENTINE" record, which featured such luminaries as MAIRE BREATNAC and DIESEL, went on to win the coveted Dance Act and Album of the Year awards in the HOT PRESS HEINEKEN AWARDS. His band HYPER[BOREA] are no strangers to the live circuit ! They have played The HEINEKEN GROOVE WEEKENDER, The ONE WORLD FESTIVAL, and BBC MUSIC LIVE (with JAH WOBBLE).
TOM GREEN who has worked with THE ORB and with his own projects, ANOTHER FINE DAY and STRANGE ATTRACTOR has been a constant collaborator and continues to work with David on both live and recorded projects.

IN August 2005 at The Big Chill Festival, UK David had 3 of his films shown and he also performed a live set at the event. He is currently putting the finishing touches to his recent collaboration with Tom Green – Erebus & Terror lp described as ' A very dark and very ambient album' to be released on the UK label "HS" later this year. David has been asked to record an exclusive Live set for London's XFM on Sunday May 21st. The mix will be aired on the popular 'Flo-motion' show presented by Nick Luscombe.
