    Hi folks,

May be a bit high-priced to be a bargain but I bought one of these yesterday for 2495 euro in DID in Blanchardstown yesterday. Went in to price it and got a price for 2919 which is the best price I've got so far - just stuck my head into the new Harvey Norman out there and they had it priced at 2495 as an opening offer. I prefer dealing with DID so we went back and they went with their price promise and even threw in delivery free to Swords for 2495. Saved 424 euro in five minutes !

Not sure how long this will last.

How did you save €424 if you could have bought it in Harvey's for what you paid in DID??
Why where you so anxious to give your business to DID when they tried to rip you off in the 1st place?? They only matched Harvey's coz they were found out.

A few points to note - I did mention I had priced this plasma elsewhere - one of those elsewhere's was Harvey Norman in Swords where it priced at 2995 - 75 quid dearer than the DID next door. Harvey Norman in Blanch only had those plasmas on for an opening special (for all I know it may already be back up to the 2995 price).
I went with DID because of the service - I've kitted out two houses now from them and they are always on the ball with price (especially if you bundle stuff). Also I've had experience of their after sales and couldn't look for better when it came to support in relation to chasing manufacturer's on warranty.
Lastly Harvey Norman is gererally dearer for most household electricals.
