Hiya

What do ye think is the going rate for a band playing ina bar for 2 and a half hours or 3 hours?I think between 300 and 400.

Sometimes it depends on the band - how good they are, how many members, etc. Usually we get anywhere from € 450 to €600 for playing a 2 hour set. We're a 5 piece rock covers band and generally play in the Leinster area.

I playing the circuit mostly leinster and we get around 600 for a 4 piece

That sound quite good, sei046. Some pubs are known to pay better than others and some agents take a bigger cut than others too.

actually mind you our sound man and all is a 5 piece. WOrks out 100 a man usually when other stuff is paid for. We sometimes do rallys and stuff and get in around 1300 or so but its few and far between

We are a very young but good 4-piece rock cover band.350 I think is fair as we aren't established yet.

It's a band called King K in Kinsale.Jeez I realised my last post sounded egotistical.We aren't especially good but we aren't ****e like.
