    No.

    It is a better design but I dont see the whole Computer industry just switching over, it would take years.....

    And its not worth it for a few degrees drop in temperatures....

    If they are going to change they should completely change the layout and cooling systems in PCs,

    If the GPU went in a socket beside the CPU and they were both cooled by the same heatsink with a large 140mm fan. Now that would be cooling:D
