Feature on bloggers on NewsTalk this morning

    There was a feature on NewsTalk 106 this morning between 11 and 12 am which was pretty negative towards bloggers. The name of the presenter escaped me, but there were some blatant omissions from the programme.

    There was no mention of the speed at which bloggers covered the Dublin Riots
    There was no mention of the blog awards, she waffled a little about some international award ceremonies but never mentioned an Irish one
    There were no Irish blogs emntioned

    The presenter of the programme came accross fairly hostile to "citezen journalism" as she called it.

    Was it a debate on the merits of citizen journalism? would have been interesting to hear.... According to their listings it was the arts and entertainment show... doesn't look like it has a podcast...
