another 2 singles and a double bet.

So far I've posted this type of bet twice (1 & 2)and the success rate is 100%. That's 4 winners at decent prices. (That bit was for you finn ;) )

    Tomorrow

    2:05 My Mirasol

This is another from the maidens thread but it steps in here because that was abandoned due to fears for the public. My Mirasol shouldn't have anything to fear from those that have had a run and of those that haven't I'd fear Fathom Five most.

    Newmarket 1:45 Dream Theme

Admitedly a significant jump in class but there really was a lot to like about the way this horse done away with well regarded horses such as Red Diadem, Ocean Valentine and another from my tracker, Eagle Eye last month. That was his first race back from a break so I'm sure there's plenty of improvement to come as well.

Two singles, One Double. F/C 15/8 & 7/2. Who know's what they'll be come tomorrow. (I know I've jinxed it now by referring to the last two but hey)

any post at this hour of the night deserves a reply. I'll do a tenner double.

    you alco.

without hijacking - the 2:50 in Newmarket should be won by Hard Top. Comes from same source as Mountain High from yesterday - favourite......but we dont like big prices round here !!

    ;) Just finished work.

I really can't do a straight double...too annoying when one winner is wasted.

Don't mean to put a damper on it, but The only thing that would bother me about Dream Theme is the fact that his only win was on soft, and the going should be good-to-firm tomorrow. Also, I can't seem to rule miliary cross out of this. That big fat zero beside Military Cross is for a race on soft. He likes good ground, so it may be ok to overlook it a bit. He has a good jock on board, and looks like a decent sort.
Anyway, hopefully all will be well on the day, otherwise I will be sending the boys around. Good luck

ok - full of soup - but the reason I like dipping in here is cos most of us are just here to check out which horses are fit and ready for a race.

there is no magic forumula. or inside information. not naive enough to believe its 100% straight. not cynical enough to believe its all bent or there is a 'system' but all i want to know is that a horse is fit and trying; and overall boards members seem to be honest !

So when I post a tip it will win OR .... be an honourable 4th !

Well that is a legitimate concern alright Wayne...but...although his only win was on soft his two previous runs, on good and good to firm were fairly satisfactory performances. The third at Folkstone can be put down to an awful draw...the horses split into two groups that day and although he easily won the race on the stand's side, the far side had a significant advantage.

His debut race where he finished behind final verse was disappointing as he was well backed that day but Final Verse ran a cracker in the Guineas today and any horse can be expected to come on from their debuts..and also from 2-3.

Also, his mammy and daddy both won on good to firm...

was going to go with shirocco for this but the expected good to firm ground won't suit now..
you seem to be in form lately scargill so hard top should be a good replacement..

must also get a few quid on that double fade.. expecting nothing less than a win here with your 100% record.. again, no pressure..

ground is now soft in places, shirocco gets the nod from me :D

Ok...because of my pricewise like power over the punters :p both horses have been gambled on this morning. Dream Theme is a market mover on RP 7-2 in 5-2 and My Mirasol is a silly 11-8. To take a price or not to take a price...the dilemma I face every day...

So these are 100% sure to win, watching with interest. Theres no shame in posting the odd loser too, we don't want to clean out the bookies altogether. :D

Sorry Guys, Dream Theme out of the frame. To be honest, I wouldn't be taking too much heed of that form, with the ground the way it was and the way they split into two groups. He'll stay in the tracker, and the snatcher will join him.

So we should lay it then? :)

    Thanks,

I should be ashamed of myself....

I have no idea how that thing managed to go off at 4-6.

I should have gone to bed after work last night. Apologies to all.

No need to apologise, it was unbackable at that price anyway. :)

Extremely unbackable. I know there were two non runners in the race but it was a 2-1 shot...no less.
