I want to set up a psp on my broadband connection at home via my pc which has a wireless b/g card onboard.

I have tried it without any success and am wondering if i need a wireless router to do it, or am i doing something wrong?

also when i run a wireless network search with the pc it will not find any, but the psp will find 1 or 2, so my wireless card may not be working properly.
i am hoping the psp has a better range!!

I would think you would need a wireless router mate. I have a netopia and my psp works grand. I wouldn't think you could do it without a router.

In theory, if the PSP can do an ad-hoc connection, you would not need a router.

You would need to configure the PC for internet connection sharing, so it would act as the router.
