Friends of mine in Poland are hosting their annual summer camp. This was posted on another forum, I'll post it here for you. If you need contact details I can PM them to you.

    Jon

Our school LKSW "Dan" will be hosting the 11th edition of our summer training camp from August 18th till 27th in Rajgrod, Masuria region, north-east of Poland (known as "The Land of Thousand Lakes").

As usual, we don't concentrate on TKD only and we intend to have fun learning different aspects of Martial Arts. Therefore, we invited dome of our friends to conduct classes and seminars during the camp.

Lukasz "JURAS" Jurkowski, ITF World Cup winner and a succesful MMA competitor (1st Dan ITF and blue belt Gracie Barra) will be conducting a two-day seminar on MMA and BJJ. Having a strong background in ITF TKD, he definitely knows how to make a transition from the striking arts to the MMA world. Plus, he's a super nice guy to train with!

Artur Cholewa is a former World Kickboxing Championships silver medalist and several times Polish TKD & Kickboxing champion, plus a succesful coach. He will teach sparring strategies and preparation for continuous & point-stop sparring which are easy to adapt for both disciplines.

Leonid Rivilis and Jedrek "AJ" Jezewski are members of the "Double Dragon Team"(www.double-dragon-team.com), a group mixing TKD, Capoeira and Hapkido into their great demonstrations. They will teach acrobatics, extreme kicks and Capoeira. If you want to refine your jumping kicks, somersaults and jingas - those guys will help you!

Also the team of instructors of "Dan" will be there!

The location is a beautiful holiday resort "Knieja" www.knieja.rajgrod.pl - 4 beds ensuite rooms with TV, lake, forests, sports hall, sauna, powerlifting gym, possibility of cycling (cycle rental), canoeing and swimming under supervision of licenced lifeguard. All participants receive a commemorative T-shirt and a certificate. The classes will be held in age groups and will be translated if necessary.

The price is 250 Euro for 1 person - (including accomodation, food, training, seminars, T-shirt and certificate). With low cost airlines flying to Warsaw from many European countries, it can be a very interesting and reasonably priced holiday.

If anybody is interested, feel free to contact me. More information and pictures will be published on our website soon.

    Best regards

    Piotr Bernat
    Freestyle Taekwondo
