Merrion Road Bus Lane

    Saw a notice to-day that the bus lane running from Merrion Gates towards Ballsbridge becomes active from next Monday 8.5.2006. I am not sure if the other side of the road heading from Ballsbridge to Merrion gates will become active as well. Probably will to get maximum disruption value !

    Superb. Just when you clear DLRCC's mess on the Rock Road you get a run for a few hundred yards and bang it's a DCC bus lane.

    Great co-ordination guys !

    Hope the A & E people in Vincents have a few cardiac defibs available for the commuters next Monday.

    At least they will be able to get from Vincents to Ballsbridge in under 30 mns now.

    There is no bus lane in the opposite direction between Simmonscourt Rd and Ailesbury Rd.
