well, since you are into classic cars, grab a copy of Grand Prix Legends off ebay and the rest will unfold!

Agreed, great game, basically a load of brainy so and so's get racing games and develope new tracks, cars, different racing series for them and distribute mostly free. So a game like Grand prix legends which comes with about 8 or 10 tracks originally now has about 500 tracks. I just got Rfactor which is a basic racing sim, but downloaded F1, nippon, go carts, porches F2, GP3 and all play within that game, they are all made by godknows who, but some of them are as good or better than the original.BTW, I haven't downloaded anything for GPL in a while, some of it was complicted and changes needed to be made to the game before you use the addons but most of the stuff I have got for Rfactor comes with installers which makes it a hell of a lot easier to use. Rfactor can be bought/downloaded on the web for 42 quid.
    And you an download Mondello.

GPL out of the box is just ugly.
5 years of labour by its modders made it into a beauty.

rFactor is so good and covers everything i ever want in racing sims that i uninstalled everything else.
To think this is only the beginning of rfactor

I think it's time for an LFS plug... :p
    www.liveforspeed.com
Has everything from mini's to F1 cars. Has the official BMW Sauber F1 car.
easiest game to get online with, with a VERY user friendly menu system. runs smoothly on older less powerful computers.
You can races against up to 23 people at once online. There is always a room with plenty of drivers online.
Very realistic game and in terms of coding it's the most dynamic racing sim on the market.

Great sim indeed and was my favourite till rfactor hit the scene :)
    I reccomend both.
Again in terms of coding,LFS was decent but not as good as Papyrus sims like GPL,Nascar etc.
rFactors coding is second to none, ive yet to see warping or lag even when i host races on my own machine.

Best suggestion is get them all, from GPL to rFactor and all the mods in between :)
