I am buying a guitar on ebay for 160 dollars and with postage this will come to 240 dollars. I am just wondering do I have to pay import duty on this and how much and when. I have already asked this question in another thread but fuzzylogic locked it.
    All help appreciated

taken from a sticky in the instruments section of boards.ie

just checked out there myself and seems to do the calculations quite accurately.

i bought a watch in the US for about 150 dollars and i got charged 14 pounds by DHL for import duty.

im guessing you will probably get something similar.
