This may be quite simple, but I thought I might pick your collective brains before I go an break SAMBA on my server.

Currently, I am trying to convince Windows MCE to write and store it's recorded TV to a network share. This only seems to be possible with null shares in windows. Simply mapping the drive etc does not work for a variety of reasons. So I need to setup the equivilant of a Windows Null Share with SAMBA.

Im thinking I can just create a directory with full privs and same with SAMBA. Is this correct?

What exactly do you mean by a 'null' share?
