There was a show on one of the UK channels years ago that we've been trying to remember

Basically a 2 man team were split up and had to find eachother using only a map, they had these backpacks full of cash that could only be opened when they met up

The only hitch, there was a madser in a black chopper hunting them down with some kind of quasar style gun

    can someone please help??????

    ITV, airwolf

maybe there was a CARR style (ie evil) airwolf chopper
or maybe the real one was stolen

and then the good characters were being chased

Yep.. you can get the original movie (a lot darker than the series) on play.com

The series only ran for one season and starred James Farentino as Frank Murphy, a very young Dana Carvey (of Wayne's World fame) and Bubba Smith (Hightower in the Police Academy movies) amongst others - the reason this is so fresh in my mind is cause I only rediscovered it on a VHS tape at home last week ya see :)

Was a much better show than Airwolf imo.. and there's good news. Sony are to release it on DVD in the near future according to reports on the web. :D
