    Hi Wavey,

Try Scott's Bikes in Dorset St. - 01-8749033
or JP Motorcycles in Pearse St. - 01-6718480 ( I bought my Virago 125 and then my Dragstar 400 off them. Brilliant service!)

    Good luck finding one!

Does anyone have anything good to say about Probike in Nutgrove or Motomax in Churchtown. I'm looking for a good shop in this area to bring my bike for it's first full service. It's got 6500km on the clock.

    Japanpaul,

I've used LME Motorcycles for a few year now to look after all my old moped and now my 125 yamaha. Motomax I've found to be very expensive, €50 per hour for labour. LME is at the end of Bird Avenue and the labour costs are about half what Motomax charge. Ring Liam on 2830195 if interested.

Thanks for all the info lads.
Search is postponed for a few weeks.

BTW Whats involved in servicing a bike?
Oil, plugs? Can it be done DIY?

    Thanks
    Wavey.

    Yes it can.

Oil change is very easy to do, including the oil filter change. Changing the air filter is also handy enough but on most bikes you will have to remove the fuel tank to get access to it which means extra work but not complexity. Plugs are generally very accessible too.
