Laptop DVD + region free

Alrite, I need to get the laptop on my DVD unlocked so as to be region free, but cant seem to find anything on the Net about how to do so. It is a Dell laptop and the name is Tsst Corp CD-RW/DVD TSL 462C Anybody have any ideas how to unlock it?:confused:

VLC - free,should do the trick.
Otherwise: http://www.dvdidle.com/dvd-region-free.htm - $40
