A scalpy sort of last longer bet

I'm planning on playing the fitz friday scalps tourney 2moro for the first time in a while. I know nobody probably knows me on here but i am reasonably regular in the fitz and i was wondering if anyone fancied setting a last longer bet that me and one of my mates used to do in it.

Basically, we had a deal where whoever lasted longest (without making the money) got all the scalps either of us had won. it's a bit of craic and if a few people signed up, i reckon there'd be enough scalps to create profit for someone (which would be lovely if you get bubbled).

    Any interest?

I prefer to try to accumulate a huge amount of scalps early in the tournament and then play red flop black flop with them.

Heard a story about the 50-100 PLO game on UB recently, a fella managed to get 9k in on a flop of A77 holding 89TQ up against aces. Turns out there was a lot of drink involved and 25k on an all red flop.

what is this "red flop black flop" you speak of?

Whether the flop will be all red cards or black cards. I have witnessed RoundTower betting on this very thing with scalps. Also I believe you can do this on Party as a sidebet.

So how do you bet on it then? Do you offer another player 7/1 giving yourself a very slight edge, or is it just a Black Vs Red race for a scalp? I've played this tourney a few times but I've never seen this practice.

just bet on whether the flop will be mostly red or mostly black. It's not rocket science. Once you've done this you can progress to the master stages of making up your own games.

Ahh that makes more sense, someone else said it was ALL red or ALL black

Are you sure? This game sounds like it could only have been conceived by some of the top men at NASA:D
