Hi! Has anybody tried to buy flights or hollydays with 3V Vouchers? Do online booking websites accept them?

Just use the FAQ on the websites that you use for booking and it will tell you if they accept the 3v vouchers or not.

I've used the 3v vouchers. I find them really handy. There is a €5 surcharge per voucher. They are from Permanent TSB & they are VISA cards so I presume where you see VISA you can use it. You can only use it on-line though, not in the shops. Compared to €40 govt tax on credit cards, if you are not going to use it every month it will prob work out cheaper too!!! You have to apply for a card to be posted out to you via the website www.3v.ie (it's free) and then you go to any of the shops which sell credit (which is sold in increments of €10 I think) and buy it (with the surcharge added on). This then gives you a receipt with your VISA card number (which changes from receipt to receipt) and a CVV2 (pin) will be sent to your email or via SMS (whichever you specified when signing up).
The only thing to remember is to put enough money on as you obviously can't go over what you put on the card.
If you don't spend the full amount on the card, you can get the balance back by filling out a form on the website. This costs €2.50 extra.

There is no problem except the limit is €350. So if your holiday is less than 350 then no problem.
