    Gold subscription is free from the 8th - 15th May according to an email I got about it this morning

    Is this including Ireland or is it just an american thing? Anyone know?

    Seems that the free stuff is sponsored by Verizon in the US so it might not be free here seeing as they are not trying to sell anything to the Irish.

    Must be someone to do with football as I just got the mail through from them advertising the free week, although there was no mention of the sponsor so seems like they may have got a bad deal. ;)

    Why are they sending me a mail about there being a free week though when there is no way that I can make use of it?

    Must just be to annoy me I guess.

    i got the email from ms as well saying ive a free week of xbox live gold even tho i have the full subscripton anyway
